News Blast:
1. Teaser - I have an awesome guest post scheduled for next Tuesday! A multi-decades veteran of the IT industry gives his take on the current state of Project Management. Don't miss it!
2. Transition - as of Thursday, November 1st I am the Director of Consulting Services for Enfocus Solutions (EnfocusSolutions.com). I've had a blast and gotten some important work done at Consumer's Energy, and enjoyed working through Epitec (www.epitecinc.com) - but opportunity knocked and I answered.
Cheers,
I believe that projects are everywhere, ubiquitous, and that it is in the thousands of projects I see everyday that I can have the greatest impact. I work to be a constant source of positive reinforcement and encouragement to everyone working on projects, posting six days a week to share good news, good thoughts, and great projects with my project peers.

Happy Trails Party in Jackson
Not one, not two, but three valuable people are moving on this week. Party at Tracy's on Tuesday after work. All friends of AboutProjectManagement.com are welcome!
Sharon Helzer is an outstanding facilitator - especially among conference-room sized groups. I will miss her in that role.
Pam DeVaney is a detail-oriented project manager who really worries every detail. She is moving on to Chrysler - there is hope for the US auto industry after all!
Shawn Johnson is a straight shooting operational IT manager and Business Analyst. I hope that the BA operation will continue to run smoothly in his absence.
Happy trails and the very best of luck to all three!
