I signed the Agile Manifesto in January of 2012, it seems like a decade had past, but just 4 3/4 years.
Have I become more and more agile since signing?
I have changed my job role from Project Manager to Agile Coach (what to do about my blog's name?) I have been a working scrum master - teaching a dev team and product owner how to be more agile and use scrum. I have achieved a few certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP). I have begun to learn to code in an agile environment - pairing and using TDD (Jasmine).
Like everyone else, I have far to go . . .

I believe that projects are everywhere, ubiquitous, and that it is in the thousands of projects I see everyday that I can have the greatest impact. I work to be a constant source of positive reinforcement and encouragement to everyone working on projects, posting six days a week to share good news, good thoughts, and great projects with my project peers.

Agile Manifesto
Today's tools post shares the Agile Manifesto.
This simple manifesto, along with 12 principles that accompany it, have had a fantastic impact on my industry (Information Technology). I urge you to memorize and understand these agile values, and apply them to your business and personal life.

Start at the Top
I often see people jump into agile by trying scrum, or kanban, or crystal clear. The critical step that they miss is to understand the overriding values of agile. The values expressed in the agile manifesto. Start your agile journey by studying the agile manifesto! If you are on your journey, refer to the manifesto often.Sign On
Find the manifesto at www.agilemanifesto.org and consider becoming a signatory. I signed a few years ago, when I started my agile journey. I just finished training for my PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional) certification and it was fun and refreshing to get back to first values when we studied the manifesto.
